<p>I am a huge fan of the Anime OVA Megazone 23. For all those MZ23 fans out there you know that the animation for MZ23 part II was radically different from the first part. IMHO It never really took away, or distracted me from who were the key players. I thought that the animation was so much more.. different from the typical anime styles that I was used to back in the early 80's.. A touch more realism.
</p><p>Anywa, as a collector of the NEWTYPE Mag for years and years, I saw an article in there about the Gatchaman OVA and when I saw the artwork I immediately knew that the OVA art work was the same as the MZ23 Part II arists.
</p><p>But ON TO THE MUSIC.....
</p><p>If I had to say there was *1* song on this soundtrack that completely embodied the whole Gatchaman OVA it would be "LETS FLY" By Maurice White (Earth, Wind and Fire singer/composer, and Bill Meyers)
</p><p>its very touching and even my brother used to play this when he got sent to the Navy back in the late 90's. It helped him and inspired him.Its done the same for me.
</p><p>Its a very"electronic" soundtrack over all "God Phoenix" is nice
