Battle of the planets (Tentative Title) is the live action adaptation of the 1978 cartoon with the same name based on Science ninja team Gatchaman. It was Announced in July, 19th 2019 at San diego Comic-con by Avengers Endgame Director, Anthony and Joe Russo brothers under their Independent Film Studio, AGBO at their Studio Panel.
Production[]
Joe Russo stated that it takes Two years to get the IP (from Tatsunoko) before putting the Title in their project lineup[1]. It is reportedly Russo Brothers will direct the movie According to AGBO Co-founder's on an Interview with But why Tho? News Outlet[2] and will be written by F9 Screenwriter, Daniel Casey [3]. Tatsunoko is also working with AGBO for IP expansion for this movie.[4]
Plot and Storyline[]
Currently the plot is still yet to announce. However, Joe Russo has stated that this movie will not directly adapting the Original Battle of The planets Stroryline[5]. Russo stated that this will be their Origial takes, with new storyline for the new Global Audience[6]. AGBO is Interested on making this movie as a Holistic Experience build upon the Film rather than milking it with sequels[7]
