Katsuji Mori having previously voiced Go Mifune in Mach Go Go Go for Tatsunoko Productions was given the role of lead character Ken Washio in Gatchaman. The role proved to be Mori's greatest success and was offered many voice acting roles afterwards. In Gatchaman Crowds, Mori voiced the character J.J. Robinson.
