Nba, it's not me who's causing trouble. I'm here to edit. This guy just came to this wiki to bother me. If you knoew more about guy, you'd find out that he has been globally blocked multiple times for his actions across wikia. He came to the TK wiki for no reason. He doesn't even care to edit or know what it's about. All he ever does is cause drama and pain. What he's doing now is he's reading off the profiles of other users and now goes to the wikis they go to. He found out that I go here and now decides to bother me. He has no reason to be here, except for causing drama and trying to be mean at me.
I haven't seen you edit anything other than your own page. While there is nothing wrong with that, at the same time I cannot say you're here to edit either. That said, I don't know the reasons for the actions Nightmare took nor do I really care. What I do care about is that he attempted to disrupt my community under the guise of me fictitiously abusing my powers as admin when he got punished for violating our rules. A few of his friends decided to come to RangerWiki on a "war" which got all of them plus at least one sockpuppet blocked, and Wikia staff on their backside. I don't know why these wannabe vigilantes are going wiki-to-wiki to cause trouble, but I know they will not cause it on one of mine. They can, and WILL, be permanently banned on sight. In playing out his childish crusade, I even had to revoke Nightmare's admin right here. Aldo will be quick to tell you I do not tolerate such behavior, and if I should see it I will not hesitate to put an end to it - promptly.
Oh, I am - and I have my eye on him as well. I am watching you both, actually. If either of you want to edit the wiki for its benefit then I'm okay with that. If either of you start trouble, or bring more "allies" here to resume trouble, permabans will be handed out.
What about his actions here? Were any of his edits disliked by anyone?
Also, I heard of a user who started this war. His name was Telekineticwolf97. I was told that he told you how bad the TK wiki was. If you actually know the user and he actually told you that, don't listen to him. The users aren't bad. That guy is related to Klaus, both of the which are troublemakers to wikia.
I do not know that user at all. Never conversed with the guy. Another admin and I did question several of Nightmare's edits and his claim of wanting to help the wiki when all he did was create page after page after page of lists - no actual articles, no actual content, nothing. I am of the belief he wanted to "adopt" this wiki to become part of his playground of wikis.
But of course the minute he declared war on its administration, he lost every right to be an admin here. And yes, I would believe he would do that considering he made 2 new wikis and then blocked me on both of them for power abuse when I have never been to those wikis nor adminned on them. And Wikia staff confirmed to me that in the case of Night's war, I held all the cards as admin - so I rid my community of him and his "allies". And if I find any more, they are going to be expelled as well. We do not tolerate that kind of behavior on our wikis.
I have a question. Why do you permanently ban people? Isn't it unproportional to to permanently ban someone without giving them a chance to redeem themselves? Why not just 2 hours? Maybe sometime after that, the person may change. If they don't, I think I see what you mean.
People who do not belong to my community, and whose only purpose there is to cause disruption and harm to it, have no place being here. Blocking Night or one of his allies for 2 hours does not stop the problem - it delays the problem. They would wait 2 hours and then act up. In situations such as that, there is no intent to help and therefore the person will not change.
^ This, and in the case of what Night and his friends did there is no apology and to block for 2 hours just delays their actions rather than preventing them. People with such intent do not apologize, nor do they change.
And a person who has no intent to be a part of said community, help said community, or contribute to said community but rather to cause harm and trouble doesn't belong. When I say my community, it is because I am an administrator of said community. Not I own the community. As an admin, it is my responsibility (along with that of other admins) to keep such things out of my community and that is exactly what I will do.
We've always known - which is why Night was in the wrong the entire time. He and his friends did not want to follow the rules we admins set forth for our community. So when punishment was handed out, he cried foul and abuse and waged his petty war. He had 0% chance of winning, and it cost him his adminship here. If this is how he conducts himself as an administrator, then his "help" isn't needed. He doesn't need to be an admin to create pages and help out, after all. And those actions clearly showed he had no real intent of helping out either, all while continuing to both order and direct the war - further justifying the loss of his powers here.
I can tell you exactly how it started. Nightmare wanted to adopt the wiki because it wasn't being updated (or so he claims, we now believe otherwise) and he filled out a request. However, we admins are active so they cant just take our wiki and give it to him. He was told the best way to get rights was to approach us and ask for them. Because he had not edited the wiki before, and he was unknown to us, I gave him admin but not bcrat. He whined about that on the adoption request but was told by Merrystar and myself that he did not need bcrat rights to do what he wanted - the only thing bcrat rights give is the right to appoint other bcrats and to take away your own bcrat rights because no one else can do it. Not needing the rights and not knowing him, I refused to grant bcrat powers - a move that would prove extremely wise on my part when suddenly his folks start appearing on RangerWiki cursing and swearing at me and calling me a bad admin, all in clear violation of our rules. So they were blocked accordingly. Then I discovered the original link to TKU where Nightmare was calling for all-out "war" on RangerWiki in an attempt to overthrow me as an admin because he felt I was abusing my power.
Seeing that the guy who had claimed to want to help the Gatchaman Wiki be the one behind the war, I revoked his rights accordingly in the best interest of both Gatchaman Wiki and the Tokupedia Hub. There was no logical or legitimate reason for me or any other admin of ours to allow someone like him, who was working against the very people he would've been forced to work with, to have control. And since this was an all-out attack, I had no choice to but to also permaban him. His attacks would have disrupted my wiki's community. Unable to attack, he sent his people over to do it for him - potentially unaware that we (not just I) were watching him and their every move. Every post they made, I saw. I saw names. I saw recruitment attempts to round up people to get involved only to call a vote. That's when they were originally reported to Wikia, at the end of which I was told that as admin, I had every right to do what I did if I felt it was in the best interest of my community and everyone knew it was. He was told, along with Miranda and your other people plotting these attacks, that if we weren't left alone, Sannse would hand out global blocks (meaning they would be blocked from ALL wikias, including his own).
Time passed. We went on with our business and we presumed he had learned his lesson. Apparently not, as you can see at the link above. And on Community Central. Now, I've filed a followup report with staff containing a large amount of evidence, including Sanse's warning to leave us alone or global blocks would be forthcoming. The next move is Wikia's, and I can pretty much assure you what it will be. There is no "war", only harassment and attempts at disruption on TKU's part - which we will not tolerate.
I will say one thing Nightmare got right - I do know you are their bcrat, and I know it is all too easy to plant a mole to spring a trap later. I am watching you, as are the other administrators. Thanks to your colleagues, you are on very weak ground. As long as you abide by the rules you are welcome to stay. Anything less, and action will happen.
Funny how you usually say TKU in things, even though I don't own the wiki. You know Night is the founder and leader. All I am is just a crat who seeks on the internet for all ways to keeping his community alive.
Then I suggest you go to him and tell him to back down from his false crusade, before Wikia carries out the promise to globally block him and all of his buddies who participated in his wannabe overthrow. He should have left us alone as he was instructed to.
There is no pride and devotion when you attack your fellow administrators. There is no pride and devotion when you intentionally work to disrupt a community because you could not get what you wanted. There is no pride in harassing said community when it has told you to go away and leave us alone. It is a false crusade, and it is going to stop - he either stops it, or Wikia globally blocks him. I am perfectly fine with either option because then we can go about our business.
Does it make me a bad person if I said this: I don't want to see the two communities fighting anymore! Everyday it happens brings more pain and agony to users of both sides. It also brings in users that don't need to be involved, but they become it. Both sides shouldn't be living in the past. Instead, they should remember this as a huge scar that will heal up soon, and perhaps give each other ONE chance. Sure, the damage done was big, but doesn't every human being desrve at least a chance? Giving a chance shows there are people left in the world who don't want to quit on humans.
No, it doesn't - but the only way it is going to happen is for Nightmare to drop his false crusade and leave our community alone. We didn't do anything to him, but he is trying his damndest to do to us. We aren't interested in working with someone who behaves and conducts himself in the manner in which Nightmare is. We are not interested in working with his friends he is sending to do his dirty work because he cannot. We haven't been damaged because we've blocked him and all of his people thus far - and we will continue to do that. The best thing for all parties at this point is for him to apologize, call off his "war" and leave me and the Tokupedia hub alone. Because his vigilante act will not be accomplishing anything here.
Him apologizing and dropping the war (and, by association, leaving us alone) will be the only way there will be peace again - we still will not work with him or have any affiliation with him. It will simply end the conflict. He can apologize in the ongoing thread over on Community Central. It will not repair or re-establish relations with us, but it may spare him a global block at this point. Whether that ultimately does or not is up to Wikia.
