Appearance
Personality
Paiman is a strict authoritative figure with a short temper who does not question the orders he's given. He does not get along with Hajime and often calls her "Newbie", to which Hajime corrects him by stating her name. He is also shown to be a heavy drinker and whenever he gets too scared, worked up, shocked or startled, he faints and bubbles come out of his mouth.
He is afraid of Berg Katze because of the loss of his best friend to the alien and doesn't know how to defeat him, often showing indecisiveness when anyone tries to bring up the subject of planning countermeasures for his attacks. He showed his fear of the alien after he transformed in the episode Abjection when trying to rescue Joe and Sugane. Once he realized he didn't have a plan to fight Berg, he abandoned Hajime and Utsu-tsu and ran away scared. However, he snapped out of it and showed his courage when Tachikawa was under attack by the Neo Hundred CROWDS, charging into battle alongside his team and stating that Berg was nothing to fear.
Plot
An alien Gatchaman dispatched on Earth by J.J and the longest running member of CAGE, going back to hundreds of years. He has the full trust of J.J., there for giving the position of leader of the team insuring that J.J.'s prediction come true. He also gives the team their orders. He has a similar appearance to pandas and absolutely hates being referred to as one. His NOTE color is pink.
History
It is told that Paiman lost his best friend to Berg Katse and that he and O.D know lots of secrets about each other
