Tatsuo Yoshida (March 6, 1932 - September 5, 1977) was a legendary anime cartoonist who was the founder of Tatsunoko Productions.
He was also the creator of Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, as well as other popular Tatsunoko series such as Mach Go Go Go (better known as Speed Racer in international markets), Casshern, Hurricane Polymar, Tekkaman the Space Knight and Yatterman.
